Data controller

The controller responsible for processing is Caliste GmbH, Im Duxer 12, 9494 Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein, operating the CASALYA brand.

Data collected when you visit

When you open the website, technical data transmitted by your browser is processed: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and device information. These server logs serve secure, stable operation and abuse prevention.

Orders and payments

The shopping bag and checkout run through Shopify. The data required for the purchase contract is processed: name, delivery and billing address, email address, items ordered, ring size, price and order status.

Payments are handled by the payment service providers shown at checkout. CASALYA does not store full card details, and they never enter our own database.

Shipping and fulfilment

For shipping within Switzerland we pass your name and delivery address and, where needed for delivery or tracking, your email address to Swiss Post.

Availability notifications

If you sign up to be notified about a piece, we store your email address, the product concerned and the language. We use this solely for that notification. It does not add you to the newsletter.

Newsletter

You receive the newsletter only if you expressly consent. We store your email address, language and the time of consent as proof. You may unsubscribe at any time or simply write to us.

Contact form and customer enquiries

Details you provide in the contact form — name, email address, subject and message — are used solely to handle your enquiry. This does not add you to any marketing list. We apply technical abuse protection such as rate limiting.

Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary technologies store the shopping bag, language and your cookie decision. Optional technologies are only used after your consent. The full list and the option to withdraw are in the Cookie Policy.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

No analytics or advertising services are currently embedded on this website — no Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok or Pinterest. Should we use such services in future, they will load only after your consent, be listed in the Cookie Policy and described here.

Service providers and recipients

We work with carefully selected providers that process data on our behalf:

• Shopify — store, shopping bag and order processing
• Lovable and Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the website
• Supabase — database for availability notifications and newsletter sign-ups
• Resend — delivery of our emails
• Google Fonts — delivery of typefaces; your IP address is transmitted to Google
• Payment and shipping providers as shown at checkout and on the shipping page

International data transfers

Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular in the EU and the United States. In those cases we rely on recognised safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.

Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable legal retention obligations.

• Accounting and transaction records: retained in line with applicable statutory requirements for business records (generally 10 years). This applies to those records only.
• Contact enquiries: only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up.
• Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn. Afterwards the address is no longer used for marketing; we keep only the minimum record needed to honour the unsubscribe.
• Availability notifications: until the notification has been sent or the request withdrawn. No further marketing purpose applies afterwards.
• Cookie consent: only for as long as the consent applies or its record is required.

Your rights

You may request information about the data we process about you and ask for correction, deletion or restriction. Consents you have given — for the newsletter or optional cookies — can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

An email to support@casalya.ch is sufficient. Cookie consent can be changed directly via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

Security

The website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. Forms are protected against automated abuse and access to stored data is limited to what is necessary.

We update this policy when our processing or the services we use change. The version published here applies.
